Collection: SAND COLLECTION

"It's a shore thing" - Made with sand and/or other elements (dirt, dried flowers, ashes) this collection allows locals and visitors alike to capture that special memory or place in a piece of jewelry.  Maybe it's sand from the beach where you were engaged, or dirt from the lane at the family farm, or dried flowers from a loved ones funeral. Whatever the element, we can set it in a pendant, ring, earrings, charm or a bracelet.  All of our settings are solid .925 sterling silver and sourced from suppliers that follow ethical standards and practices.

Please note that it is illegal to harvest sand or elements (sea glass, shells, driftwood) from PEI national parks and protected areas. We love PEI! It's our home. We appreciate and support the good work others are doing to protect our beaches for wildlife and future generations to enjoy. We don't carry or work with sand obtained illegally, and only stock what we need for jewelry creation and display. We can make hundreds of pieces with what you shake out of your beach towel at the end of the day, so our impact is basically non-existent. We encourage our patrons to choose from our sand stock when possible, so as to not harvest unnecessarily. And please remember to stick to groomed paths and stay off the dunes;)

We have a number of different types of local, North American and international sands on hand or feel free to send us legally obtained elements (no more than a teaspoon) to:

P.O. Box 25060, Charlottetown PE  C1A 9N4

or you can drop sand and other elements off to:

McGregor & Currie Jewelry, Peake's Quay Shop at 11 Great George Street, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The shop is open from 11am-6pm Monday to Saturday and from 12noon-5pm on Sundays until Labour Day.

Once we have an element in hand, turn around time is 4 days until we can ship it or arrange for pick up.

We look forward to helping you capture memories!
